Recap 3/20/05: 19-6 Win vs. SD A's
Well, better late than never... congratulations on picking up a big 19-6 win over the *previously* unbeaten San Diego A's last Sunday. Thanks to Mike Gross for running the team in my absence and for hitting a grand slam (and 3/5 hitting). I know you guys aren't used to that kind of production out of the manager's batting spot... I'll have to try and step it up for the rest of the season.
Every Black Sox player got a hit for the day and all accounts were that Dennis and Jim pitched well. Here's the numbers:
Dennis 4 innings pitched - 4 runs
Jim M 3 innings pitched - 2 runs
Batting (in order)
Jim M 4-5 with 1 BB, 1-2b, 4 runs scored
Kevin 3-6 1 2b, 3 runs scored
Steve 1-4, 1 Sac Fly, 1 BB
Mo 3-5 with 1 BB
Doug 2-5 with 1 HBP
Dennis 3-6, 1 2b
Mike C 3-5, 1 BB
Joe B 1-6
Mike G 3-5 (and the aforementioned Grand Slam)
In case anyone is interested, my team (the Padres) won the 38+ division in the Tucson tourney, going 3-1 overall and winning the championship 11-6 vs. the Indians (last year's winners). My Stats:
Dan 6-14 (.429). On Base 10-18 (.556)
I thought those were pretty good numbers until I saw your stats. Overall, just a great weekend for baseball. Hopefully, we can carry the momentum forward for a strong stretch run.
Upcoming
We are off this weekend for the Easter holiday and resume play next Sunday (4/03) vs. Tecolote. The schedule has been posted on the league website and our website: (http://www.bats1.com/schedule/ ). Everyone have a great weekend and I'll see you next week.

Great Team win guys...I am now retiring with my 1000% winning percentage as a manager.
